You *do* have a grill, right? (I checked with Google, but your situation
might have changed since you wrote the post I read.)
Crush the garlic, then mix together with shoyu, brown sugar, and lime juice.
Marinate chicken thighs in that as long as practical (up to 10 hours), then
grill thighs over medium-low heat. While grilling, bring leftover marinade
to a boil, then brush the chicken frequently with it. (It's probably
obvious, but it bears mentioning that it's important to cook the marinade,
because it had raw chicken in it and the last layer of marinade that you
brush on the chicken isn't going to cook all that long.)
