Hi, Yes, there are a couple of Asian grocery Stores in Chicago's
ChinaTown. There was one around 24th St, and Wentworth, and there are a
couple of others in the area. There is a smaller one right on Cermak
at Wentworth almost directly across from the fire station, and at about
23rd and Wentworth there is Ten Ren Tea Shop. Not cheap, but some of
thier tea is pretty good, and they sell Ginseng also.

Theres also a huge Asian Supermarket just outside (About a mile or so
northwest) of Chinatown on about 2000 south Canal Street (At Lumber St
and Canal) just south of the Metra Train Yard and right next to the
south access road (Lumber St) into the Amtrak Yard. There they have
fresh fish, shellfish, meats, and produce too, besides tea, dried foods,
and everything else you can think of. Mainly Chinese foods though, not
Japanese.

I know of another Asian Store on Belmont just a few doors west of Clark
St on the south side of the street. (Not a whole lot there though)

I'm sure there's dozens more, and if you don't have access to a Chicago
Yellow Pages, you could always hunt down Asian food shops in Chicago on
the internet Yellow Pages.

I usually used to frequent these places for good Soy Sauce, Oyster
Sauce, and Tea. Hope this helps, Mark
