Did you re-pot the plant? I bought a small potted basil plant (also at
Wegmans; they had several different herbs) and re-planted it in a larger
pot for my apartment. I'm usually awful with plants, but this has has
survived and continuously sprouted new leaves. I typically have no more
than half a dozen or so big leaves at any given time, but it's been
worth it.
