If you are going to use them within a few days they should be fine, just
make sure that they are well dried. My wife does the meringues around
here, and she leaves them in the oven for hours. The important thing is to
keep them dry.
My mother used to freeze meringues all the time. They aren't ruined by
freezing but they do tend to get a little gummy and chewy on the bottom
after being frozen.
