Uh, excuse me - I was an IT consultant to a fairly large company
leading up to that event. I don't say non-event, because the only
reason it turned out as it did was that millions of people like me
gave up their personal lives for a couple of years to fix it. It
didn't get completely fixed there and the result was that over a
period of time thereafter, about 2/3 of the employees were layed off
in a downsizing which was the only way to save the company. I'm not
talking a dozen people, I'm talking hundreds. So save your "media
hype" bullshit for someone who wasn't in the trenches. Hype? Tell
that to those people's families.
