I don't think DH would do that to me and if he did, he knows I'd be
giving him "the look" all evening and he would hear about it later.
You are a champ for accepting this fate with so little complaint and
creating a feast for your guest. You deserve extra attention in the
romance department for at least 2 weeks. :-)
