Chung, Manna is a TYPE of food provided by God to meet a particular
need, at a particular time in our history. A miraculous food, with some
very special properties.

An omer, be it a measure or container, may well be the right amount for
MANNA. There is absolutely no indication, Biblical or historical, that
the same quantity of other types of food will supply the same
nutritional values as Manna.

One would presume that a kilo of a food provided by God would be pretty
special. You are arrogantly presuming that a kilo of *anything* would
match the value of God's gift. You don't seem to hold God in very high
regard with an attitude like that. Not a good example of a Christian it
would seem.

You really do seem to have a fews problems with, reality, logic, and
understanding what an omer actually is.

BTW, have you got around to reading Exodus 16:16 yet?

Your previous references and claims about it would indicate that you
hadn't. It doesn't in any way indicate that an omer is two pounds.

When you finish reading Exodus 16:16, try Exodus 16:17-18 where it tells
you that people "gathered every man according to his eating", (they
weren't on diets, you see Chung) so they *DIDN'T* all gather the same
amount, some gathered much, some gathered little, yet when measured it
always exactly filled the omer. Do you think that perhaps Manna had some
properties that something like, say, Pizza lacks?

Do you really think that a kilo of junk food has the same value as a
kilo of Manna? Aside from the fact that leftover Manna would rot every
day except the Sabbath, it seems that no matter how much you collected,
you ended up with just enough to provide for your sustenance. Now if
they could make Pizzas and other junk food with those properties, there
would be *no* fat people. Why don't you leave the newsgroups alone and
spend your time praying for a recipe for heavenly pizzas or Manna
burgers? If God truly wants you to lead the way in fighting obesity, I
am sure that he will oblige. If he doesn't - well there's your answer.

Regards

David
