Okay, here's the thing. The content of your sig looks fine now.
However, there is usually a separator; e.g., "--", placed between the
message and the sig content which tells a newsreader where the sig begins.
The purpose of this only becomes apparent the you reply to the post. In
the reply, the sig should be dropped.
For example, when you click to reply to my post, everything beginning with
my name and below should automatically be omitted from the quoted text.
Does that make sense?
