Here's another Irish Soda bread recipe that I've used. There must've be a
million of them?

Irish Soda Bread

2 cups all-purpose flour

1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder

3/4 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

4 Tablespoons sugar

3 Tablespoons butter

1 cup buttermilk

2/3 cup raisins

Combine powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.

Cut 3 Tablespoons butter into flour mixture until coarse, make a well in
center, and pour in buttermilk. Add raisins. Mix lightly.

Turn onto lightly floured board and knead 8 times.

Shape into round loaf and place in an 8- or 9-inch cake pan, Or parchment
paper.

Cut with an X.

Bake 25-35 minutes in a 350-degree oven

My recipe doesn't show green coloring, Graham.

Oh, by the by, Graham -- I just received my book, "Bread" yesterday -
