No, that's about as close to an egg cream as you can get in your home.
An ice cream soda has a scoop of ice cream added at the end, kind of
stuck on the edge of the glass so it doesn't plunk down into the liquid
and displace it upwards. Plus the seltzer may foam up more when the ice
cream enters it.
