The Whole Foods Store is on the East side of Federal highway at about
18th Street.

There is a gourmet store, Fernanda's, on the Southwest corner of
Oakland Park Blvd and Federal Highway.

Another on Federal Highway just North of 62nd Street (Cypress Creek
Road). Used to be Carmines Prime Meats but I can't remember the new
name. It's on the East side about 300 yards North of 62nd in a strip
mall.

Very nice French bread and bakery goodies at Croissan-Time also on the
West side of Federal Highway just North of Sunrise Blvd. Across
Federal from a burger joint named Fudrucker's. Sort of like going
from the sublime to the ridiculous. . . but, at least you gotta cross
a busy 6-lane highway!

Also one on 17th Street (the causeway road) East of Federal Highway by
about 10 blocks or so. It's on the North side. I think it's called the
Grateful Palate or some such thing.
