Default Fondue

a tastey fondue thats real simple to make and not time consuming at all. First
for prep work and you cant go wrong here. buy all your favorite fruits and
other eibles that you love with chocolate. it could be banannas to even
pretzels. once you've got all your "dipping food" prepped then you can start on
the fondue or basic sauce. Start of with semi sweet chocolate you can buy
everything from a bar of imported belgian chocolate to regular toll house and
put it in a mixing bowl. on the stove in a meduim size sauce pan put about 8-16
oz (depending on how much chocolate) of cream, a splash of amaretto a touch of
vanilla extract and a pinch of cinnamon. on low heat bring this to a light
simmer dont boil cause it will burn. gradually add the heated liquid to the
bowl of chocolate and while your doing this whisk with a medium wired wisk and
add as much of the flavored cream to the chocolate until you get the
consistancy that you want then just pour that mixture into your fondue pot with
a low flame on it(stir to prevent burning) and dip away. this will keep in the
fridge for a decent amount of time and also works good as a sauce for ice
cream. my girlfriend loved in when i made it for valentines day and i hope you
and your boyfriend enjoy it too.
