We put corian in our new house. It's darned expensive. If I were doing it
again, I'd push a lot harder on the "what other composite materials are
available that don't cost as much as Corian" question, but I'd still go
with a composite.

Our counters are beautiful, they're a sort of slate blue that goes very
well with the maple cupboards.
