There seems to be enough light off the streetlamps thru the window to get me
safely the 10 feet or so from my bed to the bathroom in the middle of the
night without too much danger.

I've also been using the bathroom for roughly the past 38 out of my 40
years, pretty much know where everything is, and can manage to pee just fine
in the semi-darkness.

Nightlights are for children and the elderly. I'm neither. When I get there,
I'll get myself a nightlight.
