Anyone have a recipe for sour cream cookies that STAY SOFT ???
Hope this is what you are looking for.
These cookies will last for about 3 months or longer if stored in airtight
container, however they never last that long around my house. Also they do
stay soft.
Sugar Cookies
1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup sour cream
5 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs & vanilla to sour cream. Sift =
flour, baking powder, salt and soda add to liquid. Cover and chill about
an hour. Roll out to 1/4 inch. cut. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
Frost with regular cake frosting (not the whipped kind). Let frosting
"dry" before storing cookies. If you wish to put sprinkles on them, do it
before frosting dries.
