Saving Drippings?
Found out on Thanksgiving that we're going to be hosting a Christmas
dinner after all (whoo hoo!). A friend has the equipment to deep fry
a bird, so we're considering trying our turkey that for the first time.
(I'll be asking more about that in the future.)
Anyway, I like drippings in my gravy, so I've saved some in the freezer
from a batch of chicken I fried last week. Is this a really bad idea?
