Buddhism does not have a god. Hindus may or may not believe in a central
deity. Some faiths hold to sacred cannibalism. (For example, there are
skeletons in some Aztec sites with human toothmarks.) Other faiths allow the
eating of certain meats, while still others ban all meat-eating.
I am sure that the differences are bigger than you assume. I believe
commonalities are not enough for concord.
