I ate dinner at the Borgata buffet two or three times. The dinner buffet
there is pretty good, but pricey; around $21 per person. Doing a
breakfast buffet is difficult because the common egg dishes such as
scrambled eggs, and even French toast and pancakes just don't hold
up well in steam tables, even if the turnover is high.

Last week, I was in Las Vegas with some friends. On my last day there, a
friend who lives nearby and I ate breakfast at the Excalibur's buffet.
The breakfast there was pretty good. It was their Sunday brunch. I was
in a bit of a hurry because I had a flight to catch and my friend who
dined with me isn't a big eater so we only had one trip up to the food
trough before my friend dropped me off at the airport. I know a lot
of people pooh pooh the Excalibur's buffet, but I find it acceptable
for the price and the convenience can't be beat since the Excalibur
is where I stayed.
