Oh puleeze.
They've been serving sausages in buns in Coney Island (Brooklyn) New York
since 1867. And German immigrants sold them in the Bowery (Lower East Side
of Manhattan) since before that.

True, it was in St. Louis that someone thought to serve them at a baseball
game, but hell...what's that got to do with anything?
I swear, why some people have to be so MEAN about the Boston Red Sox--it's
inexplicable.
