Right before the Bi-Lo closed the man I work for told me they were
having a clearance sale so he bought a lot of meat there. "Select" or
"Choice" grade. IOW, cheap crappy meat.

Publix does make good fried chicken! I've found the produce selection
to be very good, even if (at one point) no one seemed to know what a
leek is.
