Is that the language you taught your kids?
My daughter was neglected, I never brought her to any fast food joint.
Instead I prepared a simple lunch of sandwhiches and fruit and we'd go
to a park, a zoo, a museum, etc. Brooklyn has plenty of parks, zoos,
museums, etc.
A zoo was her favorite next to kite flying at a park. There're plenty
of ways to entertain kids besides fast food joints, and there're
certainly better ways to feed them, kids love picniks. Even now that
they are older The grands like to go bike riding. They prefer bike
riding here than in the crowded city, we make the rounds of the
livestock farms, and many of the farms sell their produce and
excellent baked goods. And there's plenty of boating and fishing.
Also lots of organizations host weekend BBQs in the towns. This being
Armed Forces day I'm sure the BBQ trailers have already arrived. All
summer there's plenty of fast food at town fairs, drive through town
and smell the corn dogs and funnel cakes.
