Probably not. Depending on what he's been in for, there might not have
been any tests, scans, or X-rays. For example, to stitch up a bad laceration.
I broke my ankle slightly over 40 years ago. Those records are long gone.
The film X-rays, the paper copy of the emergency room records, all shredded.
