Leaving gaps is not wise as the adjacent teeth will shift. Nowadays
most people go for implants... a lot less maintenence and don't cost
much more than dentures. And very often dentures need to be replaced
as gums change and adjacent teeth shift. If you're thinking of
dentures it's best to think again... most dentists won't agree to
dentures when the other teeth are still good. Today implants is the
way to go. My wife got three implants as maintaining a bridge was a
major PIA, not to mention the cost of ongoing dentist visits.
