They made us put machine guards on our punch presses. The owner would have
done it anyway, after the workmen´s comp premiums rose to his awareness.
Nevertheless, a few fingertips, or worse, were saved.
I give OSHA credit for machine guards. That´s all they ever came after us
for.
I didn´t care for insurance company auditors either.
