I didn't watch the guy that cuts mine but he knows better than to mow
wet grass. He edged and blew off the driveway. Next week I'll have him
cut back the azaeala bushes and the camelias now that they've stopped
blooming. This will ensure they bloom again in the fall.

I had bought a lawn mower with full intentions of doing my own mowing
years ago. Problem is the soil is so sandy and soft the mower sunk
right down. Self-propelled, I couldn't budge it. There are also mole
tunnels. I sold the mower and I pay someone to do the work.

I do have a leaf blower and I blow stuff off the driveway. This time of
year there are lots of brown squiggly things that fall from oak trees.
Per Wiki, "They're called catkins, and they are the spent male flowers
whose purpose is to shed pollen that is carried by the wind to female
flowers."

All I know is they make a mess all over the driveway. I have a
*cordless* electric leaf blower for things like that.
