You should have at least tried them. They were amazingly comfortable.
They came out sometime around 1980. I had seen them advertised so, one
day at the mall, I went into a shoe store and tried them on.
Unbelievably comfortable. Felt like I was walking on clouds. Actually
put a smile on my face which is an odd reaction to trying on a pair of
new shoes.
Not only did I buy them but I kept them on. I carried my old shoes home
in the new shoebox. Loved those things.
