The police have better things to do. Even during lockdown some going
out trips are essential. For example, not everyone (including me) lives
where they can have *fresh* food delivered. You can't tell people they
have to stop eating. Ordering groceries ahead and picking up outside is
available, sure.
You *can* tell people going to a bar is not essential and dining inside
a restaurant is not essential.
IMNSHO, people need to stop thinking the vaccines are magically going to
get everything back to pre-Covid normal. We're a long way from that. I
will continue to wear a mask and observe the safety protocols for a very
long time to come. It's the responsible thing to do.
