I think he's showing us the egg drizzled on the bread before he made it
into the sandwich. Is that what makes it "Japan"? It does appear to be
sitting on a 1970's Corelle white and green plate. Spring Blosson was
the pattern. I had the Butterfly Gold, myself.

That's a decent looking grilled cheese sandwich. Can't even see the
egg. Maybe those eggs came pre-broken from the windshield of his car in
the parking lot. <shrug>
