Free yes, but more importantly: anonymous. People who are ashamed of
their own behaviour always use anonymous news servers: AIOE or
Neodome. Hank and the frogger troll come to mind. Greg Sorrow would
use an anonymous server too, but he's too stupid to set one up, so he
uses Google Groups.
