I can get great hams right in town here at the Italian-German butcher
shop. I don't buy them often as my wife doesn't like ham and I can't
eat a whole ham, not even a half ham. This week the market in town
has bone-in ham steaks on sale, I may get a couple. Actually my
favorite is a roasted fresh ham but I'd need enough guests to help eat
it... a roast fresh ham is the king of roasts, far better than any
beef prime rib.
