The last year may have taken toll on our former neighbour's son. I last
saw him at their 60th anniversary party a couple years ago. He seemed
to be quite troubled when I spoke with him. At the end of December he
went for a walk and was last seen heading along the trail by the canal.
There is still no sign of him. I figure that the water is warming up and
the ice is gone, so there is a good chance his body might come to th
e surface.
