My wife had a bad reaction to her first dose of Moderna, fever and
fatigue. That was almost a week ago, and she was fine after a day
or so. We all had Covid in December. I have been the strongest
proponent of vaccination for decades, and that hasn't changed. I've
had a few bad reactions to seasonal flu vaccines over the years, but
actually *getting* influenza is worse than hundreds of cases of
minor symptoms from the vaccine.

My hope is that this pandemic will cause more resources to be put
into vaccine development in general in the future--far more
resources--as well as more resources toward research and production
of more non-specific antiviral drugs.
