Why would someone want to carry around dozens of books?
I only read one at a time.

Non-fiction books never become useless.
Fiction books, I only save the really good ones to maybe reread many
years later.

I read many from the library. No cost.

As I said, I've got so many books here. If I ever move and have to
downsize, getting rid of many books would be the hardest thing to part with.

Just different strokes for different folks.
