Your part of Virginia Beach is a whole different world from the
oceanfront. On a big holiday weekend, you can't even drive down here to
spend a day at the beach. Police set up roadblocks everywhere about a
mile from the oceanfront.

If you don't show proof of living within that mile or have proof of
staying in a motel, they turn you around to go park in a remote lot and
take a bus to and from the oceanfront.

I live within that area but I still don't drive there when it's busy.
That's where my bike comes in handy.
