Even before the "no horses" law was created, no one drove their horses
down here anyway. No farms that even have horses other than way down
south and they didn't transport them up here to ride on the beach.

OTOH, I've seen horses at the beach here occasionally. Those are ridden
by police...down the boardwalk and on Atlantic Ave. Although those cops
are on active duty, the horse thing is mainly a tourist attraction,
summers only.
