I used to make my own chili. I spent hours rendering beef, duck, sage hen,
deer, pork, beef, etc. into chili. I could have probably made rancid seagull
or a couple of dozen tarantula chili taste the same. Cumin and chili powder
does that to meat. I obviously was doing something wrong, yet I still
haven´t tasted better homemade chili. Well...at least to my mind.
Nowadays, I just open a can of "Stagg Laredo Chili with Beans" and make chili
dogs.
