But the waxing rhapsodic about my past isn't focused primarily on my teens,
or even twenties. A few hours ago, I posted a short thing about an episode of
my life from August of 2017. I'm sure many folks didn't read it, and some
thought, *There's Bryan again telling about another true but probably not very
interesting event in his life. He sure does seem to have the writing version of
likes to hear himself talk.* Folks seldom complain anymore, I guess because
you all know it won't change my behavior, and at least I'm not quoting my book.

I am going to try to resist my desire to twist the knife, as it really is flogging a
dead horse.
