That's some pretty old-fashioned notions. OTOH, there is some practical advice that's still true today. One should keep talk to a minimum when dancing.. Men can't do two things at once. I sure can't. Most women don't know this about men. They'll try to do stuff like ask you a question while you're watching TV!
Also, don't talk to your man about what you're wearing! We ain't interested - unless it's from Victoria's Secret! OTOH, talking to your man about fashion can be useful if you suspect that he's queer. Thank you for your very informative link!
