2 cans chicken broth
2 bags frozen chopped broccoli
3/4 pound American cheese -- cut into cubes
Salt -- to taste
Freshly-ground black pepper -- to taste
Bring broccoli and broth to boil, simmer 5 minutes, and add American Cheese
cubes. Heat on low until cheese melts, add salt and pepper to taste. If
soup is too thick, add heavy cream to thin to desired consistency.
This recipe yields 6 servings; approximately 4 carb grams per serving.
