Last week, I winged a recipe. Cooked some egg noodles then drained. In
same pot put about 1 TBS olive oil and a tsp of butter and sauteed one
smashed and minced garlic clove. Then I dumped the pasta back in with
some parmesan cheese and stirred it all up. Very tasty. Just enough for
2 servings. Next time I might add a half cup of chicken broth thickened
with cornstarch just to add a creamy sauce with it.
Your dinner sounds good. I just had a few good tuna sandwiches during
the game. No chips but it was still good eats. Dessert was 2 fig newton
cookies.
You asked once about using chicken thighs instead of wings for Buffalo
chicken. Did you ever try it?
Also, did you watch the game? Not many people here care about american
football. Nice to see that the *new* Brady Bunch (Tampa Bay) won by a
large margin. New England Patriots should have kept him and they would
have been there.
Commercials weren't all that. Only one I liked enough to mention was the
self driving car commercial (Cadillac) with Edward Scissorhands.
