Absolutely an increase in his homeowner's insurance. That along with
required fencing because you never know when some curious neighborhood
kids who are attracted to a pool in the heat of summer might wander in.
It's got to be secure. Not to mention the cost of the algae retardent
chemicals, cleaning the filters, constantly skimming the pool for
falling leaves. Then draining and covering the pool when winter rolls
around. It's a lot of work. Might look like fun in the Summer until he
gets down to the constant maintenance only to find it's only being used
a few months out of the year.
