Here's my take on it, from looking at the pictures and eating American food
all my life:
Fried chicken is bone-in chicken. Breasts, legs, thighs, wings.
Chicken-fried steak is pretty flat and boneless.
Chicken-fried chicken is boned chicken meat, more resembling steak than
chicken parts.
