I'm somewhat high on the priority list. 67.5 years old and mild asthma,
but I'm not rushing out to get an early one.

Although this virus is certainly a real problem, the news media is
having fun throwing "fuel into the fire" and creating a real panic. I've
stopped watching national news with all their daily death counts, etc.

They've done this every year even with the regular flu.
Good ratings and even better now.

One dose in my pocket, I'd take it or maybe give to my mom. Nice to have
her still around. (She's 89.5)

6,200 other doses in my pocket? I'd give them to whoever wanted one,
first come first serve. Just ask me, I'm here.

Again, the public is being herded off the cliff in a panic. Screw that crap.

The vaccines are emergency approved and only semi tested. No one knows
how long they will last of even how well they work. The new
Johnson&Johnson vaccine about to be approved sounds like a better one to me.

As for me - I'll just continue with what I've been doing for almost the
last year. Only shop when I need to and wear a mask when in those
stores. Also wash or sanitize my hands after leaving those stores.
I've done the hand cleaning thing for many years just for regular flu
and it does work well.

Once the masses have gotten their vaccines and I can go to a drug store
or my doctor to get a vaccine within minutes, I might consider doing
that. No way will I stand in long lines to get one. No way will I stand
in long lines to get *anything* like those super sales the stores give
the day after Thanksgiving.
