The UK "new variant" covid is MUCH (70 %) more infectious. This is
despite very tough national lockdowns, universal requirement to wear
masks and socially distance by 2 metres, high levels of public
education and compliance.

Trump's idiot ignorance has spread far and will surely reap a
whirlwind in USA, but here in UK we were disbelieving and aghast to see
hugs and kisses even at the Inauguration.
