In Chicago it's all about the unions.Â* They don't think Joe Blow can run
BX (if they still call it that) or conduit.
I have romex in the walls that I have worked on.Â* They have steel
studs.Â* This is in the vaulted ceiling running through a wood truss.Â*
It's a custom home but it might have been an after thought that another
electrician installed before the drywall went in.Â* I'm just glad it was
there!
