Perhaps if you cleaned your bathtub more often you wouldn't need
lye... we clean our tub with a Loofa on a stick and a small bit of
dishwashing liquid (Dawn) after each use and it stays sparkling... the
walls are fiberglass and cover the walls and the ceiling. And we only
use it for showers... the shower head (Delta) pulls out on a hose for
rinsing.
