>Hershey's Real Chocolate Syrup doesn't taste much like chocolate. My guess is that you'd be able to make a better tasting syrup at home. I have tasted the Fox's U-Bet syrup too and they both have a weird acidic type taste to them that throws the taste off.

Maybe there's Aloha soy sauce in it?
