I'm not contesting that (although the "supermarket" concept was
developed in 1913, well before you were born). I'm asking why on earth
butchers would be giving away chicken wings for feeding infants "the
tender white meat".

Uh huh. Not debating that. I'm asking about the chicken wings for free
for feeding infants.
