Next time use a can or two of "cream of mushroom" soup
or, if that bothers you, make your own version. That will
keep your chops moist and tender and the resulting gravy
is to die for...the soup combined with the pork flavor=yum!

My version: (I've never added garlic)
- Brown the pork chops on both sides briefly
- remove from pan, add a little oil and sauté the
sliced mushrooms and onions for a couple of minutes
- add one can of cream of mushroom soup and 1/4 can water
(or 2 cans and 1/2 can water)*
- stir that up well, add the pork chops back in
- cover and simmer on low heat until done
- time depends on how thick the pork chops are

* I always make twice the gravy. It's good stuff.
