That's just your diet eating I suspect.
Many people eat pasta with sauce and have some garlic
bread along with it.

For me...
- pasta with red sauce
- tossed salad on the same plate
- couple pieces of garlic bread made from italian
(buttered, garlic and parmesian cheese) broiled to brown
